Create your game account

Use the same registered account name and password on the website and in the game. The name is 4–48 lowercase Latin letters and digits. Passwords are 8–31 characters; plain Latin letters avoid keyboard layout issues in the old client.

Registration displays a confirmation. If the verification email does not arrive, contact the operator; this server may deliver mail to the operator's test mailbox. The game account can be used once created.

Download and extract the installer

Download the installer ZIP below. In Windows, right-click the archive and select Extract All. Open the extracted folder and double-click Karilion-Archlord-instalace.bat. Do not run it from inside the ZIP.

This website provides the Karilion Archlord installer. An older installation in an Archlord-X folder does not need to be deleted: the installer can find it and refresh the updater and shortcut.

If Windows shows a SmartScreen prompt, first confirm the package came from this link. For a trusted file, continue through More info → Run anyway. If antivirus reports a detection, send the exact message to the operator.

Connect through Tailscale

The server runs on the private Tailscale network. The script first checks your computer and server access. If Tailscale is missing, it downloads and opens the official installer. Confirm the installation and wait for it to finish.

1. Open the Tailscale icon by the clock and choose Log in. Sign in with a provider such as Google or Microsoft. If already signed in, check that the connection is enabled.
2. The installer opens the server invitation in your browser. Sign in with the same account used in Tailscale and click Accept.
3. Return to the installer window. Installation continues automatically once the server is reachable. If the invitation cannot be accepted, ask the operator to share the server again.

Choose a folder and download the game

Follow the folder selection in the installer. Newer versions offer drives and a folder picker; the older version asks for a path and Enter selects C:\Hry. Choose a drive with enough space. The script checks free space and write access.

The download is approximately 3.6 GB. Leave the window open to see progress. The archive is then extracted. If the connection is interrupted, run the same installer again and choose the same location so it can resume.

The installer creates a desktop shortcut and refreshes the updater. The shortcut is named Karilion Archlord, or Archlord-X in the older package. If already installed, rerunning the installer can repair the updater and shortcut.

Launch the game and create a character

1. Keep Tailscale connected. Launch through the desktop shortcut so updates are checked before the game starts.
2. Wait for the launcher to finish updating and press GAME START. Enter your registered account name and password. Switch to an English keyboard layout if needed.
3. In the server list pick Fun (fast progress) or Hardcore (original game with a single life). Your account works on both, but characters are separate on each server.
4. Create a character, choose an available class and double-click the character to enter the world. You are ready to play.
